Yeah, I am a little chubby, but I have a lot of hobby.

Among all, I enjoy watching video and listening to  music, and being a car enthusiast particularly.

I also like to explore different culture on foot and have been to countries like Korea, Australia, and Germany, thanks for my parents.

Last but not least, I have a adorable shiba.

Untethered tube climbing robot

Tube climbing is being used in industrial pipe, water pipe, medical…..so on. However, most of the actuators are neither bulky nor tethered.

In our research, we demonstrate a compact untethered tube climbing robot, which is actuated by the self-designed electromagnetic actuator, has the advantage of compact, light-weighted and fast response. Combining with the light-weighted flexible metal bristles, which can provide anisotropic friction to allow the robot to move in a single direction. As for the robot body, we manufactured it through 3D-printed PLA. For maintaining the compact size of the robot, we customize a PCB with the size of 25mm in diameter to integrate all control units on it.

It has the advantage of untethered、 lightweight 、compact and inclines tube climbing capability.
